Dante the Magician appeared in several U.S.-made movies near the end of his career, most notably “A-Haunting We Will Go” with Laurel and Hardy, with whom he shared top billing.

Dante the Magician shared top billing with comedic duo Laurel & Hardy in “A-Haunting We Will Go.” The formulaic studio script did not do justice to any of the performers’ talents, but the feature-length film does provide the longest and best-preserved examples of Dante’s speech and appearance.
